At the beginning which Yilong Carpet Factory was built, during the first ten years from 1987 to 1998, Yilong was famous with his excellent silk and wool mixed rug. This kind of handmade rug was very popular in Europe and USA for above 10 years.
After year 2000, the market demand of silk/wool mixed rug decreased year and year. Yilong's output was down much then.
From year 2008, Yilong decided to revive the production of silk/wool mixed carpet as the market demand is increasing. Yilong have invested much on market development. In year 2009, Yilong has produced and exported usd800,000 of silk/wool mixed rug. Yilong plans to produce silk wool mixed rug above usd1,000,000 in the new year 2010.
